"In the late 1980s, Amitabh faced financial setbacks but made a triumphant comeback with his role in "Kaun Banega Crorepati," the Indian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" This marked his successful foray into television, further solidifying his status as a versatile entertainer.


Beyond acting, Amitabh has been involved in various philanthropic activities and social causes.


 He received numerous awards, including the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Vibhushan, recognizing his contributions to Indian cinema.
