Irrfan Khan, born Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan on January 7, 1967, in Jaipur, India, was a renowned actor who left an indelible mark on both Indian and international cinema. 


After earning a Master's degree in acting from the National School of Drama in New Delhi, Khan began his career in Bollywood in the late 1980s. 


He initially appeared in small roles but soon gained recognition for his exceptional acting skills and versatility.


Irrfan Khan's breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed film "Haasil" (2003), where he portrayed a complex character with finesse.


 He continued to impress audiences with his performances in movies like "Maqbool" (2004) and "The Namesake" (2006), showcasing his ability to seamlessly transition between mainstream and art-house cinema. His international acclaim soared with roles in films like "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008) and "Life of Pi" (2012), establishing him as a global talent.Despite facing health challenges, Khan remained dedicated to his craft, delivering powerful performances in movies like "Piku" (2015) and "Hindi Medium" (2017), the latter earning him the Best Actor award at the Filmfare Awards.


 Irrfan Khan's untimely demise on April 29, 2020, was a significant loss to the film industry. His legacy endures through his impactful contributions to cinema and the inspiration he left for aspiring actors worldwide.
